Before I go I have to say...

Don’t ever stick a knife
into a toaster.
Dishwashers should
be stacked up
from the
back.

And please don’t blame yourself
for those things you did
or failed to. All
you did was
perfect,
love.

Biography: I read and wrote a lot of poems as a child, and peaked at the age of 8 by winning a poetry competition. The prize was a history book, which sent me in pursuit of history. On retirement I had time for poetry again and have found great enjoyment and some success in writing poems, and much friendship and support from my poetry group.
